The Ekurhuleni Metro claims this is the first of many.

The aim of the equipment is to encourage communities to lead more active lives.
The metro will be rolling out gym equipment in more parks in Springs in the next financial year.
“In future the community will not only be able to use the equipment in parks, but also at identified stadiums,” he says.
Jabulile Nxumalo (20), a fitness fanatic and resident from Selcourt Enclosure, says he will have fun while using the equipment.
She uses the equipment at their disposal in the enclosure, but when she is visiting the Windmill Park, she will try out the equipment there as well.
