Recently three dogs were poisoned in the Daggafontein area.
Last week another incident of cat poisoning was reported in the Geduld area.
The SAPS has therefore warned dog and cat owners to be vigilant.
Springs police spokesman, Capt Johannes Ramphora urges the community to take note when the dogs become restless or start barking.
Please inform the police and SPCA of any poisoning that may occur.
