Themba Gadebe, Ekurhuleni Metro spokesman, says technicians are currently on site, carrying out repairs to a mini substation that blew up on Saturday
“The substation is the reason for the current power supply interruption in Selcourt,” says Gadebe.
Power is expected to be on this afternoon by 5pm.
Residents are urged to treat all electrical networks and equipment as electrically live at all times.
