Passionate moment for Leonie

Leonie Cronjé (39) started her Lady Gracious South Africa journey with a successful fund-raising event held on Saturday.

The event titled Princess, who are you?, was held at Laerskool PAM Brink and was attended by women, friends and family, who offered their support to this worthy cause.

Lady Gracious SA is not a beauty pageant, it is a journey with the Lord, a journey Leonie is eager to follow.

To become a a finalist every entrant must organise a fund-raising event to collect R8 500.

“Some of the proceeds raised on Saturday will go towards the Avril Elizabeth Home,” Leonie says.

Her participation in this journey helps her to bring out her inner beauty and to make a positive contribution to the Springs community.

She says she would also like to assist in other areas where there is a need, including soup kitchens during the winter months.

Leonie already gives her fair share to the Geduld Helpende Hande project where Sanette Joubert and Pastor Kobus Blomerus from Global Family Church are involved.

She feels she can grow as a motivational speaker while on this journey.

“When I have achieved my goal, I would like to continue to make a difference in the lives of women with broken hearts,” she says.

It was her first motivational talk but as long as she is part of this journey, she will aim to make a difference in the community.

Leonie shared her passion, not only with her guests, but also with Suret Ströh, chief executive officer of Lady Gracious SA, Suné Myburgh, Lady Gracious SA Teen 2015, and Zander Greyling, Sir SA Man of God 2015.

“You were born to be real, not to be perfect,” says Leonie.
