Rock Raceway provides a weekend of exciting racing
A full weekend of racing is planned at Rock Raceway on Saturday and Sunday.
The 400m circuit will provide a hive of high-octane racing around the oval track on Saturday and drag racing on Sunday.
Abie Sada, circuit spokesman, says rotary fans and V8 fans are in for a treat.
Racing include Kids In Racing SA, Ninja Class ages six to 12 years, 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, Formula 2 Midgets, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Super Midgets, V8 Lexus Class, Outlaw V8 Sprints, 2.1L Pinto Class, Super Saloons and Formula N Circuit Racing. Entry for adults at R65 and children aged six to 12 years enter at R30.
Refreshments will be on sale.
Embankment parking available at R50 per vehicle.
- The next Street2Strip Drags will start at 4pm on Sunday.
Gates open at 2pm.
Entry for adults at R30 and children aged six to 12 years enter at R20.
