Springs Country Club had two league games on Saturday, the individual bonus bogey and the handicap league.
The individual bonus bogey is a club competition which works on a points system.
Two school friends, Wikus Nel (53) and Leonard Verwey (52) who last saw each other in 1985 managed to reignite their friendship when they saw each other again on the golf course at Springs Country Club.
Winners for the individual bonus bogey are as follows;
Hennie Muller in first place with 7 points, runner up was Piet de Wet with 5 points and third place went to Jorsie Lira with 2 points.
Nearest to the pin was Jan Els.
The second round of the Ercil league will be on February 20 at the Springs Country Club.
