We have had two instances in which we needed to contact the municipality for assistance.
The first was two days before Christmas when we developed a water leak.
We doubted very much that this would be seen to so close to the holidays but, not even 24 hours after reporting the fault, a team arrived.
By the end of the day the problem was sorted out – and with a backup team following up the next day to make sure it had been done.
Then the other day we had a sewerage blockage.
Same thing – within 24 hours the problem was sorted out and there too we had a backup team checking up to ensure that the problem had been correctly sorted out.
I thank them for the prompt service on both occasions.
Let us give credit where it is due and commend them on a job well done.
