Six-wicket win for Colts

It was another victory for the Springs Old Boys (SOB) Club's Colt cricket team when they beat United A on Sunday.

SOB won the game by six wickets.

United A batted first and scored 128 runs, but with outstanding bowling, SOB managed to score with ease.

Rickus Neetling was one of the best bowlers who bowled eight overs and took five wickets for 20 runs.

He was also the best batsmen with 57 runs.

Not far behind him was Ashton Rudolph who bowled four overs for 12 runs and took one wicket.

Ferdie Delport bowled three overs for seven runs and took one wicket .

Johan Maritz’s bat scored him 24 runs whilst Kevin Wheeler scored 14 runs.

Colts coach William Rudolph says it was once again a good victory.

The Premium side was bowled out by 92 runs and lost against Kempton Park.

Alex Rudolph was the top batsman scoring 52 runs for Springs Old Boys.

Lionel Joubert, SOB chairman, says both teams played extremely well.
