Boys’ High commemorate Remembrance Day

The Springs Boys' High School (SBHS) annual Remembrance Day service will take place at the school on November 11, at 10.45am for 11am.

“The service commemorates not only ex-pupils who lost their lives in service of the country, but all people who gave their tomorrow so that we can have a better today,” says Andre French, SBHS principal.

An invitation to attend is extended to all interested persons.

Persons wishing to lay a wreath at this occasion are requested to contact the school.

At this service, the school also pays tribute to teachers or pupils who have passed away and plaques are placed on the school’s Wall of Remembrance.

Family members who would like to avail themselves of the opportunity of having a plaque erected in honour of a loved one are requested to contact the school on 011 818-2175.
