FightStars 14 sees Springsites in the ring

The FightStars 14 amateur fight will take place this weekend in Primrose at the Hellenic Community Centre.

Springsites, Cameron ‘Savage’ Burney and Francois Strydom, will both fight in the amateur competition on Saturday, as well as brothers, Marcel ‘Madness’ Els and Werner ‘G.I. Joe’ Els who train at the House of Tinkerbell Kickboxing and MMA Academy in Springs.

Werner will be making his debut fight on Saturday and coach JP Kruger says he will demolish his competition.

“We call him G.I. Joe because he is basically invincible and can do anything he sets his mind to,” says JP.

“These guys are all talented and have been training hard for this, I know they are going to give the fight of their life. The guys are excited, they are prepared and ready for action. The Lord has truly blessed this academy.”

Tumisang ‘The President’ Madiba also had a word for his team mates,“My team mates have prepared well, they’re ready to do business. We are content with whatever results come of it, but will, of course, be aiming for the wins”.

The team at House of Tinkerbell Kickboxing and MMA Academy thanks the management Pro League and James Read as well as their many sponsors namely, Scenic Routes, KIA East Rand, RSV, Lanford Agencies and Asap Digital.
