When he arrived at work at 2am, he parked his car but left it idling before getting into a truck to start the truck.
It was then that the armed suspects pointed a gun at him.
Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the victim claims when he turned around he noticed another three armed suspects wearing balaclavas.
They ordered him to get into his own car and drove with him to the entrance gate.
Ramphora says the suspects took the victim into the guard hut where they searched the guard.
The four armed suspects, took two firearms, cellphones and cash, jumped into the victim’s car, a silver Subaru and drove off.
No shots were fired.
A case of business robbery was opened at the police station.
