EMPD arrest drunk driver
The driver of a car involved in an accident in Strubenvale on Friday was arrested for drunk driving.
At 4pm, EMPD officers responded to an accident scene on the corner of Ermelo Road and Hanson Street.
On arrival officers Louis Els and Louwtjie du Toit found a VW Polo and a BMW had collided.
One driver sustained minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
The officers tested both drivers and found one to be over the legal alcohol limit.
The man was arrested and taken to the Springs Police Station.
Cases of drunk driving and reckless and negligent driving were opened.
