Teams compete in Super 16 Golf Tournament
The Reds won the Super 16 Golf Tournament held at the Springs Country Club on Saturday.
The team scored 89 points.
The winning individual, Dave Pretorius, scored 42 points on the day.
In first place in the Betterball Stableford competition was Piet Steyn and Koos Erasmus, who scored 48 points.
Club secretary Bennie de Lange and his partner Chris Erasmus took second place with 47 points.
In third place was Henk Hoffman and Dave Pretorius with 46 points.
Dewies van Deventer and Wouter Beukes took fourth place with 45 points, followed by Job Skosana and Eric Ntsiba with 45 points.
William Hunter took nearest the pin at the second hole, and Craig Melville at hole 12.
During the club competitions held on the same day, Koos Erasmus and Piet Steyn took first place with 48 points.
Chris Erasmus and Bennie de Lange came in second with 47 points, and Henk Hoffman and Dave Pretorius took third place with 46 points.
The East Rand Commercial and Industrial League (Ercil) will be played on Saturday at the club.
