SGHS to hold big cycle day

Springs Girls’ High School and the Impala Cycle Club are hosting the Auto Alpina / 93.9 East Rand Stereo Cycle Race Challenge.

The mountain bike race will be held on August 22 at Nigel Bottling Industries.

Cyclists can choose between three distances, 67km, 44km and 17 km routes.

Attractive prize monies should make these well worth the ride.

Races are fully marshalled, paramedics will be on duty and all finishers will receive medals.

Helmets are essential and online entries can be done at www.cycleevents.co.za.

The event also offers a variety of entertainment for spectators.

Picnic sites and various food and beverage stalls will be available.

Spot prizes and lucky draws will add to the excitement of the day, and a top-of-the-range bicycle will be raffled.

Results will be published on www.saseeding.co.za.
