In order to give back to the community, Homenet invited the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) to its premises in Ermelo Road, Casseldale, on Friday, and hosted a blood drive.
Employees Izan Dippenaar and his wife Nicole supported the drive wholeheartedly.
Nicole believes the donations will save lives.
SANBS nurse Prishani Maharage and other staff members from the blood bank aimed for 20 units on the day.
At the time of the Addie’s visit, 13 units had already been donated.
