Ebotse case postponed

Retief Liebenberg will have to wait until November to have his murder case heard.

The murder case of Retief Liebenberg, a Springs businessman, was postponed when he briefly appeared in the Petoria High Court yesterday (March 23).
The case will now be heard from November 2 to 6.
He is accused of shooting Dewalt Visser Snr (46) and his son, Dewalt “Poenie”Visser (20) dead, at the luxury Ebotse Golf and Country Estate in Benoni on October 31, 2013.
His murder case was moved from the Benoni Magistrate’s Court to the Delmas High Court on June 17 last year.
The case was due to start in Delmas on Wednesday, but for unknown reasons was moved to the Pretoria High Court by the Director of Public Prosecution.
