Springs Country Club was the host to the Easterns Nomads’ annual golf day held on Saturday.
With about 130 players who played in the Nomads field.
Springs club captain Bennie de Lange thanked the Nomads during the prizegiving for their support and donation towards the club every year.
He also thanked them for what they do for the furtherance of golf as well as their involvement and donations towards charity organisations.
The captain of the Nomads Matt Dudley thanked Springs, their members and committee for the use of their facilities and the course.
Matt also complimented Springs Country Club on the condition of the course and wished them well for the future.
The Monthly Medal and the Medal Finalist 2014 was played on Saturday afternoon after the Nomads game.
The winner of the Medal Finalist was Piet de Wet with 62 nett.
Monthly Medal winners are as follow:
A Division winner is Frikkie Claassen with 69 nett and Lappies Labuschagne is the runner up with 71 nett.
The B Division winner is Hennie Muller with 71 nett and the runner up is Malcolm Pieterse with 72 nett on count out.
Piet de Wet is the C Division winner with 62 nett and Wouter Beukes is the runner up with 69 nett.
The Singles Knock Out and Handicap League will be played on Saturday.
ERCIL will have their second game of the year at Springs on February 21.
