Funky cupcakes and other treats

Tamara Maudlin started baking in 2008 as a hobby and made it her full time job in 2012.

Tamara decorates cupcakes and cakes in all shapes and sizes with all the colours of the rainbow.

She makes biscuits on sticks which are then ordered by flower shops and put into bouquets for specific occasions.

Tamara also goes to kiddies parties with a bunch of ordered cupcakes and other delicious treats which have themes such as Mickey Mouse, any superhero, Frozen, Minions and many more.

She makes brownies and cake pops dipped in melted chocolate.

Tamara aims to have a site where anyone who fancies having baking lessons after hours can try their hand at being a “culinary master”; where children can decorate their cupcakes as they please and mothers can try their hand at baking things they haven’t tried or can’t do.

She aims to make the baking classes a family affair where everyone can enjoy the day creating magnificent treats.

There is a new trend where people are using personalised gingerbread men for seating arrangements instead of the usual name tag.

Also instead of buying gift cards to put on a wrapped gift, people are using the personalised biscuits to put on the gift.

In the near future, Tamara wants to sell cupcake party packs where children can make their own creations at birthday parties.

She sees this as a way of making an activity for children at the party and having a cupcake party pack as a bonus.

Tamara also makes Christmas-themed cupcakes and other treats.
