Two Oceans entries close in record time

The annual 56km race will be held in Cape Town on March 26.

Entries for this year’s Two Oceans ultra-marathon closed in record time, organisers confirmed yesterday.

The limit of 11 000 participants had been reached at the weekend, two months before the official closing date.

“The ever-increasing demand for entries shows that the Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon remains on the bucket list of runners across the globe,” said Two Oceans general manager Carol Vosloo The six-week substitution entry period would open on January 11, allowing runners who could no longer participate to pass on their entry to another runner.
