The Pumas team that was announced yesterday for their clash against the Griquas at the Stonehouse (Mbombela Stadium) included no fewer than seven changes after their recent defeat to the Sharks.

The most notable inclusion is that of former Stormers scrumhalf Dylan Frylinck on the bench, who if given game time will make his debut for the men from Nelspruit.

Coach Jimmy Stonehouse reshuffled his pack for the game against Griquas with Corne Fourie moving into the loosehead prop position and Vincent Koch moving to the tighthead after his impressive showing in Durban. Stephan Kotze moves to the bench as cover for the duo.

Uzair Cassiem replaces Jaco Bouwer in the No 7 jumper to build on his already burgeoning reputation.

Stonehouse also kept the backs largely intact with only Heinrich Steyl being drafted in to replace JW Bell at fullback.

The Pumas would look to replacement backs JC Roos and Jerome Pretorius to create some excitement in the latter stages of the game against the Griquas.

Griquas: Heinrich Steyl, Ruwellyn Isbell, JW Jonker, Stefan Watermeyer, Rosko Specman, Justin van Staden, Renier van Rooyen, Renaldo Bothma, Uzair Cassiem, Corne Steenkamp, Giant Mtyanda, Frikkie Spies, Vincent Koch, Francois du Toit, Corne Fourie

Bench: Frankie Herne, Stephan Kotze, Marius Coetzer, Jaco Bouwer, Dylan Frylinck, JC Roos, Jerome Pretorius.
