The versatile multiple champion experiences a tough night in Las Vegas against Devin Haney.

Devin Haney from Las Vegas outclassed South Africa’s Xolisani Ndongeni to score a lopsided 10-round unanimous points decision at the StageWorks of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday night.

All the South African had going for him was toughness and guts as Haney won with scores of 100-89 twice and 99-90.

Haney dropped Ndongeni with a right hand in the second round and dominated the fight through the ten rounds.

The 20-year-old American tried his best to win inside the distance but he did not have the power against the more experienced South African, but in the end, had to settle for a points win against the tough 28-year-old Ndongeni.

In the opening round Haney came out fast throwing combinations as he backed up Ndongeni against the ropes and scored a knockdown in round two.

He continued to dominate and was in control throughout using his jab but it was a desperate Ndongeni who only managed to hang in on wobbly legs in the tenth round.

Haney improved his record to 21-0; 13 and Ndongeni who suffered his first loss saw his record drop to 25-1; 13.
