SA 105-4, chasing 310 to beat India


Pitch deterioration rapidly accelerating as the test hits day 3.

South Africa, set a victory target of 310 runs, were 105 for four in their second innings at lunch on the third day of the third Test against India in Nagpur on Friday.

Skipper Hashim Amla was unbeaten on 28 and Faf du Plessis was on 23, with the tourists still 205 runs away from a win with six wickets in hand.

South Africa need a win to level the four-match series after losing the first Test in Mohali by 108 runs. The rain-hit second game in Bangalore was drawn.
