The Proteas seamer tore through the Bangladeshi top order, Friday, in the opening match of their ODI series.
In an ironic twist of fate, the only other individual to achieve this feat was Bangladeshi left-arm spinner, Taijul Islam, against Zimbabwe in 2014.
After being 17 without loss at the start of their innings, Rabada produced a scintillating over to remove Tamim Iqbal (bowled), Litton Das (caugh at midwicket) and Bangladeshi talisman Mahmudullah (LBW) in consecutive deliveries.
The debutante didn’t stop there, though, as he captured South Africa’s (and his own) fourth wicket of the innings, dismissing Sakar in the seventh over.
All eyes will remain fixed on the youngster as he looks set to grab a five-for to add gloss to his already stellar debut performance.
The match continues.
