Speculation has been rife in Uganda and South Africa that Milutin ‘Micho‘ Sredojevic has resigned and is set to replace Kjell Jonevret at Pirates, who is believed to be on his way out.
“Fufa president (Moses Magogo), as per his routine sessions after an international match, will hold a technical meeting with the national team coach of Uganda Cranes Mr Sredojevic,” read a Fufa statement.
“Mr Sredojevic hasn’t forwarded any communication to Fufa about rumours that he has resigned from his post as national team coach of Uganda Cranes.
“However, in the meeting on Monday, Fufa will find out officially from Mr Sredojevic his position on the rumours and his future as Uganda Cranes coach. Thereafter, Fufa and the coach will make an official communication on the matter.”
Sredojevic had a stint with Pirates in 2006, but parted ways with the club after failing to make an impact in Parktown.
