City agree new deal with midfielder Mokeke

Mokeke, who joined City from Chippa United in January, was one of the standout performers for Benni McCarthy’s side during the second half of the 2018/19 season.

The club has since decided to reward him for his good displays by giving him a new contract.

Mokeke will compete with the likes of Roland Putsche and Thabo Nodada for the central midfield position at City this coming season.

The 29-year-old is also expected to provide cover in the central defence position.
