Lions head coach Johan Ackermann announced his 23-man outfit on Thursday where he made four changes to his starting lineup who beat the Cheetahs 40-17 in Bloemfontein last weekend.

In the forwards, Ackermann has made three changes to the starting front row.

Schalk van der Merwe will start at loosehead, Armand van der Merwe moves up into the starting side at hooker and Julian Redelinghuys comes in at tighthead.

Van der Merwe replaces Jacques van Rooyen who sustained a gash to his leg early last weekend while on the tighthead Dreyer has been moved down to the bench to provide Redelinghuys with the opportunity to start.

Meanwhile, in the backline, the only change takes place at inside centre as Harold Vorster is promoted to the starting side in the place of Howard Mnisi who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.

On the bench, Malcolm Marx will cover the hooker berth while prop Corne Fourie and flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff return to the match day 23.

Stokkies Hanekom is also a new inclusion to the side and will provide centre cover.

The match will get under way at 19h10. A curtain-raiser between Linden High School and Bastion High School will be played at 16h00.

Tickets are still available for the match via, including an exciting package deal which includes transport, dinner and a match ticket for just R150.
