What’s for dinner? Fish burger with chips

Serve these grilled fish burgers with oven-baked chips and coleslaw for a complete weekday meal.

Serves 4 – 6

You’ll need: McCain Oven Chips with sea salt and black pepper; 4 filleted fish steaks; ½ cup flour; salt and pepper to taste; butter; coleslaw mix; 1 cup mayonnaise; 4 burger buns; lettuce.

How to:

Preheat your oven to 220°C for the chips. Cook according to package instructions.

On a plate combine the flour, salt and pepper. Dust fish fillets in the flour mixture.

Heat a pan over medium to high heat and add butter then fry fish for about 2 minutes per side and set aside.

Combine the coleslaw mix (if it is without a dressing) with the mayonnaise and set aside – add salt and pepper according to taste.

Spread mayonnaise on the buns, add lettuce, fish, top with coleslaw and more lettuce and serve with McCain chips
