Here’s the new Opel Crossland without an ‘X’
The new Opel Crossland boasts some important alterations such as a new design language worn by the Mokka.

The folks at Opel have unveiled their new Crossland SUV that happens to ditch the X suffix in its name.

The new Opel Crossland boasts some important alterations such as a new design language worn by the Mokka as well as the new Opel Vizor front-end, new front and rear skid plates, LED fog lamps, and new wheel options.
The rear comes with new dark-tinted taillights and new high-gloss black tailgate surface (available in combination with the black roof). The rear seats can individually slide and recline. They all come with a 60/40 split and slide by up to 150 millimetres, increasing trunk space from 410 to 520 litres.

Folding the rear seats completely increases trunk volume to 1 255 litres. For the European market, the Opel Crossland will be powered by a range of petrol and diesel units.
There is a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre engine with 61 kW of power and 118 Nm of torque. This unit employs a five-speed manual box. A force-fed 1.2-litre engine with either 81 kW and 205 Nm plus a six-speed manual transmission or 96 kW and 230 Nm can be had.

The latter can be had in manual or automatic format.
Oil burners come courtesy of a 1.5-litre engine with 81 kW and 250 Nm as well as a six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed equipped automatic variant can be had with 88 kW and 300 Nm.
Making its appearance in the Crossland is Opel’s new IntelliGrip adaptive control system, which has five modes: Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, and ESP Off.
The new Opel Crossland is expected to launch in South Africa in late 2021.
