Businesses around South Africa has seen some normality return to their operations since the beginning of the national lockdown, however, there are still strict rules in place which is likely to become the ‘new normal’ for the indefinite future. Embracing this change and finding innovative means to conduct business, Mazda is launching a new campaign to connect with its clients in the post-lockdown era. The campaign will see a Mazda CX-5 recreating special memories for Mazda enthusiasts and result in a virtual road trip.

The CX-5 is a sixth-generation SUV for the Mazda brand and with its bold exterior, premium features and comfortable interior is an ideal vehicle for a road trip. The road trip Mazda has planned, however, is no ordinary trip, instead will include all of its consumers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most holiday traditions and road trips have been disrupted and because of this, Mazda will be setting out on a road trip with a CX-5 to recreate the memories of individuals and families at their favourite holiday destinations. South Africans can share their favourite memories in Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg in photographs and a team of content creators will set out to recreate these memories as best they can.

“Our virtual road trip is the perfect way to remind people of the wonderful journeys their vehicles have taken them on. The Mazda CX-5 is an SUV that allows all on board to share the excitement of the time spent on the road, and now also to re-live their memorable family experiences,“ Craig Roberts, Managing Director, Mazda Southern Africa.

Send your memories and follow the virtual road trip on Mazda’s social media pages as the content creators set out to recreate memories.
