WATCH: A vision & a dream that Ashley and Tony Sauls have for orchestra
Eldos comes alive with the sound of music.
A few years ago, the Greater Eldorado Park Youth Orchestra (GEYO) was just a vision and a dream that Ashley and Tony Sauls, along with other visionaries had for the community. Now, that vision has finally come to pass.
Ashley said that he saw the Youth Orchestra working out well in the inner-city of Los Angeles, where Charles Dickerson is based, and decided to make it work, right here in Eldorado Park.
He said that dream has finally manifested after long negotiations and they have been working with Dickerson from the youth orchestra in Los Angeles for 10 days.

They have been practising at the Don Mateman Civic Centre in Extension Five and at the Eldorado Park Senior Secondary School (Blue School).
Dickerson is the founder, executive director and conductor of the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles. Conducting for about 40 years, Dickerson has directed performances that can be considered as one of the greatest orchestral and choral works throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
On April 25, the youth from GEYO will be showcasing their talent and what they have learnt from Dickerson at the Blue School at 7 pm.
So, if you are a fan of orchestral music, that is where you need to be to bear witness to how the dream has become a reality for Eldos kids.
