LyteHouse to launch worship album featuring Farlon Lyte at Rex Lounge, Sandton

Farlon Lyte and The LyteHouse collective officially launch their debut album.

On Tuesday, October 17, 2017, Farlon Lyte and The LyteHouse collective officially launch their debut album, The LyteHouse Worship with a roof-raising concert at the Rex Lounge in Sandton.

Better known for collaborating and performing with top local and international acts such as Sinach and Martin Phike, the lead singer, Farlon Lyte, is a global music powerhouse herself.

A composer and instrumentalist, she describes the CD as “an authentic, fresh take on praise and worship”.

Songs by Farlon Lyte that have already become worship standards in churches around the world are featured in this long-awaited CD: He’s Never Late, Unstoppable and Fix It; as well as a selection of brand new tracks.

Farlon Lyte explains the album is inspired by her life’s journey. “Music has provided me with a beautiful platform from which to express my love and gratitude to God.

“The fact that I can share it with others and impact them especially is what inspires me to keep making music.”

She adds that the sound of the album can be best described as mid to uptempo with immense crossover appeal.

“The songs are catchy yet meaningful; spiritual, yet easy to relate with. They are songs you can sing along to, dance to or drive to.

“I started out wanting to make sure the youth know God’s love is still relevant and special for their modern day lives, but I know the tracks also minister to older audiences.”

Producer Cliff M said the LyteHouse Worship project was an amazing experience that produced more than just an album but an experience with God.

“Each and every song is a classic. The team that worked on it was simply great – from the singers to instrumentalists. We can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Farlon Lyte is a South Africa–based gospel artist and businesswoman who at just 26 has her own music label and has graced stages all over the world.

“My music career started in Zimbabwe but it truly became established when I joined Christ Embassy Church in Johannesburg,“ she says.

Farlon Lyte currently heads up the global ministry music arm in Southern Africa, charged with grooming over 1000 music artists.
