Big plans down-the-pipeline for New Miss Dobsonville Beauty Pageant

Miss Dobsonville Beauty Pageant back with bigger plans.

New Miss Dobsonville Beauty Pageant organisors are making changes as part of embracing the pageant and making it appeal to the wider market.

According to the event organisors, Nxobile Khumalo, it is for the first time in the history of the pageant that they will be including male contestants in their lineup.

“We are excited about the initiative and we are implementing more changes this time around. We will be paying tertiary fees for the winners in both categories (Mr. and Miss Dobsonville Beauty Pageant).

Participating contestants should be between 18-23 years old, both males and females,” explained Khumalo.

The event will take place on September 30 and the event will be held at David Pine Hall.

As if that is not enough, performing artists should pay R100 stage fee and they will be automatically entering the competition for best performing artist on the day.

“Artists will not only be entertaining supporters but they will also battle for prize money of the overall best performing artist on the day.

“A panel of our judges will vote for the best performing artists on the day.

“There are best prices to be won by the best performing artist on the day. Entrance fee is R70 to be paid at the door,” said Khumalo.

Dobsonville beauty pageant will be for the first time to be host by TTA Fitness Gym.

The registration process for contestants open at David Pine Hall in Dobsonville Extension Three or SMS email address at 062 365 4015.
