Westbury: The Imperfection Tour

Ricwa launches his second tour again in Westbury.

Ricardo Klassen better known as Ricwa is launching his Imperfection tour on April 28 at the Family worship centre, corner of Harmony street and Hurst Hill in Westbury.

The imperfection project is taken from 2 Corinthians 11:30 where Paul says ‘if I must boast I will boast of the things that shows my weakness’. “We have become a world of selfies, it’s all about you. So I’m saying no, it’s okay to be imperfect, not to have it all together because when Christ is strong when we are weak. Today I am stronger because of my weaknesses.” said Ricwa.

The new music will be launched at the tour, where a hard copy will be given as part of the entrance package to patrons. The extended play consists of nine tracks all produced by Dj Terry, Xstra and Brother Romano featuring Kabomo, Mercy, Keagan, Creation Waits and Will.

According to Ricwa, the music has a gospel, house, hip hop and R’nB feel to it but every song is from a Christian point of view. The songs are also based on the day to day lives of people living in the South of Johannesburg.

Ricwa responded to the question ‘why did you choose to launch your tour in Westbury?’: “Because of the support and love I get in Westbury, my very first gig I did last year in Westbury, over 200 people came to support me, they were singing my songs word for word. There’s just that atmosphere when I’m in Westbury, it’s crazy, I can’t explain it.”

Other artists that one can expect at the tour is Idols winner Vincent Bones, Buhle Maseko also known as ‘Nimza’ from the TV show ‘Skeem Saam’ who will be presenting and giving some advice on the TV industry, Poet Rolean, FWC Band, Comedian Gino Williams, and rapper Keagan.

The launch starts at 7 pm and pre-sold tickets are going for R30 or the entrance fee at the door will cost you R50.

For pre-sold tickets, you can Whatsapp Nadine on 0745256026, Mark on 072 525 1961 or Lee on 081 818 1946.
