Rapper under age 15 showcasing mad skill

Another mind-blowing weekend of raw talented graced the Slaghuis over the past weekend with the highlight of the show being one of the youngest lyricists to kill the show.

This has been a platform that has provided artists to venture into greener pastures, much like it has offered such a platform to artists such as Pro Kid.

Blessing Mokoe started rapping in Zone Four Diepkloof at the age of 14 and was groomed into the craft as he made it a point to be at the sessions every week.

Another young and upcoming rapper is Kagiso Matli- stage name Cage made an appearance in last week’s session, dropping some bars from his mixtape.

He released the mixtape titled ‘First Impression’ and still comes to Slag Huis keep in tune with what is happening around him and to embrace his love for the craft.

Another amazing talent that got everybody shocked was young Bongani Buthelezi who goes by the stage name Young Tyler (13).

“I was just passing by with my homies and I was attracted by what I heard and thought I could add my two cents.

“I’m dead serious about my music, a lot of young-stars don’t get the opportunity to perform and live the dreads that I’m living.

“When I get the chance to shoot I will make sure that I grab the opportunity with both hands and I’m going to shoot to kill,” said Buthelezi.
