Hip hop vs House event to promote local artists

Danish Lounge (DL) in Diepkloof has a new platform that is determined to promote upcoming house DJ’s and hip hop artist on Friday nights called House meets Hip hop.

Siyasanga Zwakala aka Koffie is a house music vocalist and dancer, he performed at the lounge for the first time, he said,

“I was very glad to perform at Danish Lounge and appreciate the exposure it has given me.”

Kabelo Hlewane aka KB is the events manager of DL and believes in the new and raw talent of upcoming artists, he said, “The house meets Hip hop event we host every Friday is our way of giving back to our community by promoting our local artists.”
Artists who would like to perform at DL can contact Hlewane at the lounge a few weeks before the night they wish to perform.
