Women silently marched from Maponya Mall to Diepkloof with the intention of listening to their inner voices as a celebration of women’s day and commemoration of the women who marched to the Union Building 50 years ago.
The message was, “Your inner voice knows what’s best for your life.”
Women in action and the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) walked 5 Km holding a banner that read, “Strike a woman and strike a rock.”
The March successfully reached its destination without any accidents and incidents
Maria Rasemeni took part in the 5km walk, she said, “I learnt something from listening to my inner voice and I’m really glad I took part in the walk.”
