ORT SA with South Western Gauteng College Gorge Tebor campus hosted their graduation ceremony. 40 students mostly from the agriculture sector completed a course in Enterprise Development Training which commenced in January. The event was theme around motivating students beyond the day of the graduation with an array of addresses on success and longevity in the business world.
Alfred Mogale represented the NYDA and his emphasis was the opportunities available for the graduates. “The NYDA offers three different services one of which is a tire one, grant package. “The grant is given to compliant entities depending on what that particular business may need”, said Mogale. Sipho Tshabalala was the motivational speaker of the day and he said students need to “use the skills they’ve learnt and fuse that with passion and implement the two into an active business”.
