The Mahlomola Kekana Foundation (MFK) launched the annual Brown Dash Tribute concert at the Soweto Theatre.
The Foundation officially launched the tribute to one of Soweto’s finest Kwaito legends with the honorary concert taking place on Heritage Day at the Orlando Stadium this year.
The concert is said to celebrate the life and achievements of Simphiwe Mpamile and to unite under one umbrella as local artists.
The immediate family members of Mpamile, his children, the mothers of his children, grandparents, and other family members were present to witness the launch of this tribute concert.
“The fundamental aim of this tribute concert is to continue the legacy that Mpamile had started and to enable those he has left behind to enjoy his riches,” said head of the foundation, Mahlomola Kekana.
