Miss Soweto hopeful dreams of being a fashion journalist
Miss Fey just wants to live a comfortable life but be able to afford everything she needs.
The top 20 finalists for the Miss Soweto 2015 beauty pageant have been selected. One of them will be crowned Miss Soweto at a glamorous event to be held at the Soweto Theatre on December 5.
The top 20 was selected at the final round of auditions held at Maponya Mall early this month.
The countdown to the final has begun and all the finalists are ready to showcase their stuff on the runway. Each day leading to the finals will be dedicated to one of the girls in the running to be queen of Africa’s biggest township.
Fedile “Miss Fey” Tau
Her friends call her Miss Fey but her parents named her Fedile Tau.
The 20 year old journalism student at Boston Media House hails from Protea Glen.
Even though she dreams of becoming a fashion journalist, she likes the simpler things in life. Miss Fey just wants to live a comfortable life but be able to afford everything she needs.
She is not into being wealthy or running a business.
Being crowned Miss Soweto will give her a chance to reach out to women with low self esteem through fashion.
Mentoring them on how to express themselves through dressing up and being comfortable in their own skin will be her strategy.
