Ripley’s Believe It or Not comes to Soweto
The displays will be open for public viewing from October 23 till November 15.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not is on a 12 month tour around South Africa and Jabulani Mall has been selected as their display site in Soweto.
Ripley’s Entertainment Company has embarked on several world tours and the South African edition of the tour started in July and will continue till next year.
The tour is aimed at sharing some of the astonishing discoveries made by Ripley’s with South Africans by bringing life size replicas of their discoveries.
“I used to watch the TV show sometimes and I just found it fascinating. “It’s also interesting to see some of the discoveries in real life, I guess for me the interest is in taking pictures with some of the replicas,” said Brian Mabuti who came to do his shopping at the mall.
The displays will be open for public viewing from October 23 till November 15.
