Women invited to a book club in Pimville.

Women’s Forum invites all women in Pimville to a book club launch at the Pimville Community Centre on June 18 at 11am.

“This is a great initiative that will allow women to share ideas, experiences and knowledge from all walks of life. This is a platform that seeks to awaken the spirit of Ubuntu through books, discussions, dialogues, poetry sessions, storytelling and community outreach programmes,” said Karabo Ngoetjane, from the Women’s Forum.

She said book clubs are known worldwide and they are used to expand people’s horizons intellectually and socially.

“They also help to improve our communications skills and encourages us to appreciate our world,” she said.

She said the book club aims to have women share different points of view from different books.
