Drug awareness campaign

Fight against drugs intensifies.

St Joseph and St Anthony Catholic Church Justice of Peace Groups is hosting a drug awareness campaign.

The event will be on May 10, from noon to 3pm, at the Coronationville Recreational Centre.

Guest speakers ranged from South African National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence (SANCA), school principals, South African Police Services (SAPS), The Department of Social Services and development.

“Ke moja, I’m fine without drugs” is a brand name for the Government of South Africa’s drugs and substance abuse prevention programme and will also be at the event for awareness.

Organisers are urging residents to attend and bring friends to learn about what drugs does to your body.
