Gospel music artist Sakhile PheZulu was shooting a music video for his album entitled Phezulu, at Zola 3 last week Thursday.
The shoot started in the morning and took place at a house in Zola 3 and was finalized at the Njongo park.
PheZulu was born and grew up in Zola and has been passionate about music since an early age.
He has participated and established musical groups in and around Zola, one of which was at Dr Vilakazi Secondary.
Signed under Kanjalo Soul Records, PheZulu says his album has been way overdue.
“I’ve been serious in the music industry for the past three years and I’ve been building up to the moment we’re at now.
“I’ve learned a lot in the musical experience I’ve had and one of the most important lessons is that of patience
“God has his time and only he knew that my time was now. I invite everyone to praise and thank the Lord with me, regardless of their religious background,” PheZulu said.
X Kadubandlela does marketing for the album and said that the celebrities we see on television started somewhere and in most cases they are not as famous in their communities as they are in the media.
According to Dubandlela, the point is to launch PheZulu to celebrity status in his community before he becomes a celebrity in national and international media.
