Determined to win the Mr SA title

Kagiso Gabashane a Mr South Africa contestant, is confident that he will win the competition.

Kagiso Gabashane has been an actor since his mother entered him into an advertisement when he was a baby.

Since then Gabashane from Phase 2 Diepkloof has been into advertisements and international movies.

Gabashane ventured into modelling two years ago after his agent suggested it, and this year he is a contestant into the Mr South Africa pageant.

The 21-year-old says that he is in the competition to win.

“I wasn’t keen on the idea when my mom first told me about it, then I realised how much good I can do for my community when I win,” he said.

The enthusiastic, bubbly Gabashane’s motto in life is “you have no right to be bored in life”.

“I like people to be happy around me; I’ve always been a class clown. I hate boredom and I believe that people should be doing something with their lives. I don’t want to have regrets in life,” he said.

The third-year corporate law student who plans to study further said that when he wins he is going to help the community.

“I love helping the charities. There are a lot of children who don’t have parents and I would love to help orphanages.”

Gabashane is passionate about the youth and he says that when he wins he is going to work towards fixing sports facilities in Diepkloof.

To realise his dreams Gabashane is urging the community to vote for him.

To vote for Gabashane type MRSA 041 to 47439, the sms costs R3.
