Showcase of local models

With festive approaching it comes with children doing nothing, but Junior Mafia Label is about to change that.

On Saturday, Junior Mafia Label hosted their modelling competition at the ‘Blush by Nite’ which used to be the old Moody Blues.

Community development is one of the main focuses that this label works towards with different events such as the modelling that happened this past Friday.

Seven girls took part in the competition, with awards given to winners.

“We will help these girls to get their profiles done and help send those to different modelling agencies, said Lang.

Junior Mafia is a public relations company owned by Ricardo Lang who is aims to help children keep busy with constructive activities.

“We will be hosting different events, giving young artists a platform to show their talents.

“With scouts that attend our events, there are opportunities that could lead to a promising career in the arts, said Lang.

This project is aimed at trying to keep the children busy because of what happens during the festive season.

“Taking children off the streets and keeping them busy with different art forms that they can explore in, said Lang.”

The label has been working with established promoters and event managements to help children to explore the arts and all it entails.
