Big talent show closer

Rivierlea Believers to host an talent show to showcase the talent that lives in the community.

Riverlea Believers, a team which has faced many challenges and have overcome many obstacles, are to hold a talent show.

One of the main reasons for having this event is to show case the talent in the community and giving children with talent an opportunity to get exposure.

“It is also to uplift our community and show people there is hope and drugs or alcohol is not an option,” says Bernice Dollie

This will serve as a fund-raising event and the money raised will be sown back in the community for a Christmas party to 500 kids and, above all. kids that has never experienced having a proper meal.

“This is the only way to have funds raised as we don’t have any funding from any institution and all funds come out our own pockets.”

“We call on all parents to help us make this possible, if your child has talent and is sitting at home send them to the recreation centre who knows he could be making it big one day,” said dollie

The show will be on December 8, starting at 4pm at the Riverlea High School Hall.
