The young rugby beasts have been performing at their very best this year.
In a show of recognition for their efforts, hard work and the numerous injuries the players sustained on the field, the Raiders Rugby Club hosted their annual awards.
The Raiders Rugby Club held their annual awards on Saturday, October 28, at the Bill Jardine Stadium where players and staff were recognised for their efforts throughout the season.

According to the Public Relations Manager, Thaakir Dawood, the award categories were as follows:
Future star (most promising player), Forward of the year, Backline player of the year, Top try scorer (throughout the club), Top point scorer (throughout the club).
The coveted Bill Jardine Sportsman of the year, this award is awarded to the most deserving player who showed the best ethics with regards to being a true Raiders ambassador on and off the field.
U19Â winners:
Forward of the year: Delron Lewis
Backline Player of the year: Chesney Jaftha
Future star: Charlwayne Wannenbergh and Porosh Bhuyaia
U21 winners:
Forward of the year: Simphiwe Mbatha
Backline Player of the year: John Khubeka
Future star: Thapelo Kabesa
Third team winners:
Forward of the year: Isaac Mbalo
Backline Player of the year: Ashwin Stevens
Future star: Lancelot Rambau
Second team winners:
Forward of the year: Zain Olivier
Backline Player of the year: James Bester
Future star: Marvyn Snyer
First team winners:
Forward of the year: Henna Bredenkamp
Backline Player of the year: Gardener Nechironga
