Can the Proteas conquer World Cup 2015?

1992 cricket World Cup
The Proteas featured in a rain-affected semifinal before the introduction of the Duckworth Lewis rain rule.
South Africa needed 22 runs from 13 balls when the rain intervened.
Eventually South Africa needed 22 off one ball and were eliminated.
1996 World Cup
Despite qualifying as tournaments favourites, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
2003 World Cup
As hosts of the 2003 World Cup, South Africa failed to progress beyond the group stage due to a misunderstanding of how many runs they needed to score in a rain-affected run chase.
2007 World Cup
This was not the best of tournaments for the Proteas, as they had to experience devastating defeats to Bangladesh, Australia and New Zealand. Wins against  England, West Indies, Ireland, Netherlands and Scotland they failed to qualify as group winners.
They were knocked out in the semifinals with their lowest score in a World Cup. Australia bowled them out for 149 and won by seven wickets.
2011 World Cup
South Africa topped their group with flying colours of bowling out every side played within the 50 over limit.
They were knocked out of the tourney by New Zealand in the quarterfinals, losing eight wickets for 68 runs.
2015 World Cup?
Under the leadership of AB De Villiers, he enters the tourney as the number one ranked ODI batsman and as one of the in-form players, coupled with an impressive average of 66.72 in his 60 matches as captain.
