The Diepkloof Zonal Football Association is hosting a Top 8 Tournament at the Zone 5 grounds from April 2-5.
According to Cooper Moloisane from the association, the tournament is to make pupils busy during the school holidays.
“We don’t want the boys to get bored and then do something they will regret. The tournament has eight U-17 teams in the Diepkloof league.
The teams will play each other from Wednesday to Friday and on Saturday they will play the semi-finals and the finals,” he said.
Moloisane said: “We urge the community to support the tournament. We are inviting everyone to go and watch.”
