Local soccer ends with a triple win
With a season ending the Bosmont Local Football Association had their last set of finals that were played and seen one of the clubs winning a three different competitions under the finals that were played.
Last week the Bosmont Local Football Association (BLFA) season was concluded at the BL Gaffney Stadium.
This was the second leg of the finals that was played to close the soccer season.
Dazzlers Football Club Super League team had a triple in the winning of knockout cup finals.
Dazzlers beat Westbury Arsenals by 3-1.
This means they have won three different leagues which are the Super League title, Carrim Dharsey Challenge Cup and the Knockout Cup.
It is the first time in 10 years that a team has won the treble.
The other knockout finals results were as follows:
The Under 13 soccer teams;
Davidsonville beat Arsenals by 1-0
The Under 15 soccer teams;
Sparrow Rangers beat Fruit and Veg by 6-2
The Under 17 soccer teams;
Sparrow Rangers beat 5 Dazzlers by 5-3 which ended in a penalty shootout.
